Absences - Self managed solution for resident roles: residents can manage their own absences
Communities can now let independent living residents record their own absences directly in the app, removing the need for staff to verify every departure and return. Staff stay informed throughout and can still step in when needed.
- On the day of departure, an eligible resident sees a banner with a button to sign out
- During the absence, a banner with a button to sign back in stays visible on the homepage
- Which resident roles can self-manage absences is set at the community level
Wallet for Concierge + Wellness: pay with wallet credits beyond dining
Wallet payments now extend to Concierge and Wellness, so residents can use existing credit balances across more of their day, not just meals.
- Residents can pay for Concierge and Wellness purchases with wallet credits, the same way they already do for dining
- If a balance runs short, the community's top-up settings decide whether extra credits are purchased automatically to complete the order
- Residents can review their wallet balance and full transaction history from their profile
Resident notes - confidential notes with data retention: clearer visibility on confidential notes
Family now sees when a note about the resident is marked confidential and when its content is scheduled for removal, giving more transparency into how sensitive information is handled.
- Notes marked confidential are clearly labeled for the resident
- Family is informed when a confidential note's content is due to be removed
- A separate permission now controls whether confidential notes can be shared with family members
Activities - Dynamic booking window per role: priority booking windows by resident role
Communities can give different resident roles different advance booking windows on select activities, so residents get priority sign-up ahead of members.
- Booking windows are configurable per role, for example 21 days and 1 hour for residents versus 14 days and 1 hour for members
