Full registration and management across the platform
A new absences service gives staff and residents a structured way to record, track, and manage time away from the community, with that status reflected across all relevant backoffice screens.
Resident front office
- Residents log an absence via a new front office cube
- Fields include: departure and return date and time, destination and address (with a saved top 10 of recently used destinations), a contact person for the duration of the absence, and any additional notes

Staff back office
- A new absences grid shows all resident absences in a single view
- Smart filter buttons instantly show residents currently absent, and residents expected to leave or return today
- The grid refreshes automatically as absences change state
- Absent residents are flagged across all backoffice service screens, giving staff immediate context without navigating to a profile
- Staff can opt in to receive email notifications when absences are created, updated or canceled

Visit kiosk
- During check-in and check-out, residents can select an existing absence or register a new one directly from the kiosk.
- When residents register their absence through the kiosk, the system automatically sets the record to a verified Absent or Present status, reducing manual work for staff. For communities that don't use the kiosk, staff retain the ability to manually update records to the verified status via a status change in the backoffice.
